The faith of a child is precious in the sight of the Lord. When I look into the eyes of my own children I can see why the Savior said, “Be ye as a little child, for such is the kingdom of heaven.” I chose to paint the little boy dressed in modern clothing to have it be relevant to our time. There is a soft smile on the Savior’s face as the little boy gazes into His eyes. Then Jesus whispers softly to the child, “I will always love you.”
