Over the Edge 28x35 - Giclee Canvas

In this painting, I wanted to create a sense of deep space and an awe-struck feeling of standing on the edge of an abyss. The sheer cliffs are glowing with the deep ambers and golds of the evening sun. An eagle, once perched on the overhanging branch in the foreground, drops into the abyss as it soars beyond. I imagined that to stand in such a place would be exhilarating and awe inspiring.
