"I always am struck with the beauty of Mt. Timpanogos in Utah Valley, and cannot count the times I have looked up at it and said to myself, "someday, I am going to paint this!" One morning, I was driving along the old highway and saw the morning light creating those shadows, which are so distinctive to "Timp". I thought how impressive it must have been 150 years ago to those who settled this valley. Beneath the shadows of this magnificent mountain, many generations have found a place of peace and comfort. I finally did what I had been wanting to do for so long."
