Each President represents an era of the American spirit, when the fight for our future was at stake and dreams were in the making. I chose these presidents because I admire their bravery and commitment. They were men of purpose, and though flawed human beings, their impact upon the American story continues to inspire.
They are part of the great mythology of America—a story of struggle, courage, sacrifice, and the winning of the West. They live on in our dreams and in our hearts. And now they come directly toward you, my American friend—
