The Emperor Has No Clothes

He could never win the People’s House

And rule from the Ivory Tower.

But when the Swindlers came to town

They promised him the power.

“We can weave for you a victory.

The means are now invisible,

Because Americans are not capable

To explain the unexplainable.”

So, they crafted them a President.

All protests were deflected.

It was called an insurrection

And the Emperor was selected.

Then the leaders came to gather

To hear the Great-One speak.

He wore a crown of gold.

His appearance was unique.

What is it that I think I hear?

From the lips of a little kid.

He pointed to the Emperor and shouted,

“That guy is naked!”

The people only whispered first,

Then all candidly exposed.

This President is a fraud and

The Emperor has no clothes.
