Doorway to Zion 11x14 OE - Litho Print

As you drive through Springdale, Utah, approaching Zion National Park, you see the majestic cliffs of Mount Kiwasava up to the left. The Virgin River winds its way along the desert floor as it has for thousands of years. I chose to paint this scene in a way I felt would capture the feelings of Autumn along the dramatic red rock cliffs of Kiwasava. When you reach this point, you know you have crossed over the doorway to Zion.
