Old Watermill 28 x 35 - Giclee Canvas

"The idea for this painting started when I first saw an old pencil sketch from the 19th century depicting an early cottage scene. I imagined how it could have looked with the old stone masoned watermill, the pond and the bridge. I could see a young boy fishing and a woman crossing the bridge. It is exciting for me to see an image like this in my mind and watch it unfold into an actual place as I create the painting. I feel this is how it may have looked 150 years ago."
